I am hoping to organise a regular food collection to help our local Salvation Army food bank.
I can collect from your home and there will also be collection points around the village. Having spoken to the organisers in Gainsborough, I understand all tinned and dry food, plus long life milk is always needed.
I’m sure many of you will already donate through local supermarkets, but I feel that a regular delivery from Willingham would List be very welcome. I hope to make a start for the Easter holiday, so I’m sure some chocolate will also be welcome.

Willingham Village Hall committee is organising a tabletop and garage sale on Saturday 27th April from 10am. to 1pm. The more houses which take part, the more likely we are to attract more custom. For items you sell in your premises there is no charge and we will even do your advertising for you. To take part please call Barbara on 788425. The Village Hall will be providing free maps for those wishing to peruse the stalls, provide refreshments and toilet facilities. If you only have a few items to sell and would rather be in the Village Hall, a tabletop can be booked for £5 for the session
As part of this years churches festival we are holding a "Sconathon" on Saturday, 30th March in the Village Hall at 1:30
You are invited to bake and bring a batch of sweet or savoury scones, plus the recipe, to the hall where entries will be judged. The scones can be your own creation or taken from your favourite recipe book (Please credit the author). All the recipes will go into the St Helen's scone recipe book which will be printed and sold at the festival in May.
Prizes will be given for first, second and third places and the first three will be baked and served at the festival. There will be a separate class for 16s and under. Everyone is invited to come along to taste and vote for your favourites. Entry is free and refreshments will be available.

Willingham Panto 15th and 16th November 2019
We are looking to put on a panto entitled 'The 12 days of Christmas' in Willingham Village hall on the above dates. Whilst the event is being led by the Willingham Twinning committee, we want it to be a true community panto with everyone taking part who wants to.
A panto is so much more than just a play, and as well as actors with speaking parts we need children for the chorus of mice and commitment from a strong backroom team to assist with costumes, props, sound, lighting, stage management and refreshments.
We will be auditioning/casting and looking for backroom commitment at the Village Hall Committee room at 7.30pm on Thursday 14th March.
Please do not be put off by the requirement for singing in some of the parts. Singing does not have to be tuneful, just loud and enthusiastic and (probably in some cases) fuelled by dutch courage! If you would like a copy of the script in advance of the casting meeting please email Rebecca Andrews on firstname.lastname@example.org
